Veteran Filmmaker Jerry Jackson Named Director of Photography for 4 Hearts Productions’ Beyond Merritt Short Film Project

Hollywood, CA-Hollywood filmmaker Jerry Jackson was recently named the Director of Photography for 4 Hearts Productions’ latest short film, Beyond Merritt. A film directed by Reuben Johnson that stars Boys in The Hood actress Alysia Rogers, Beyond Merritt is the true life story about Lynda Merritt, a drug-addicted single mom who finds herself in the grips of drug addiction, poverty, loss, and despair.

The film boasts a multi-talented cast including Mashari Laila Bain (The Young & The Restless, Without A Trace) and Mike Estime (Everybody Hates Chris, The Last Holiday). Jackson, a film veteran and owner of Smooth Sound Multimedia, has over 20 years of experience in the industry, and has worked with a variety of celebrities including Brandy, Akon, and R. Kelly. Jackson was recently honored at the Pan African Film Festival and the Hollywood Black Film Festival for “Truly Blessed,” and The Switch.”
