BriefingWire.com, 5/26/2022 - Saturday, June 18, 2022, 12pm - 5pm, located at 675 Texas Street at the Solano Lawn Area, will be the Fairfield Juneteenth Festival. Brought to you and organized by the Fairfield (CAN) Clergy Action Network, partnered with the Solano County Black Chamber of Commerce and Community Partners: City of Fairfield, Gordon’s Music, Bay Area Promoter - Jeff Trager, and emceed by Fairfield City Councilwoman Pam Bertani, this will be an event you will not want to miss.

Fairfield will be hosting its first ever Juneteenth Festival, commemorating the end of slavery of African Americans at the end of the civil war. It originated on June 19, 1865 in Galveston, Texas as emancipation from slavery spread across the United States. Juneteenth is observed worldwide, but is now recognized as a National holiday.

The Juneteenth Festival, was organized with love of community in mind. There will be ten entertainment acts, Live Music, DJ, kids activities, several food trucks and over 50 retail vendors. This event is FREE and Open to All in the Public. Bring your lawn chairs, great energy and enjoy great food, meet new friends and shop.
