BriefingWire.com, 12/23/2021 - Local Entrepreneur Tara Beasley-Stansberry is running for a seat on Vallejo's City Council in the 2022 Election in District #5. Tara is the co-owner of Noonies Place Restaurant with her wife Ronda. Tara is a homeowner in the District 5 area of Vallejo, CA, and is very passionate and committed about the state of not just her district, but also her city.

Tara is the Chair of the Vallejo Community Housing Development Commission, she is also on the Board of the Housing First Solano Continuum of Care Coalition and she is the Co-Chair of the Participatory Budgeting Committee. Tara grew up with a sense of community and service to others, her mother ingrained in her the importance of seeing a need and filling a need. Since Tara has been in Vallejo, she has been involved in the community from feeding the unhoused with her wife Ronda to cleaning up the neighborhood and participating in the restoration of the Kyle Temple's Community Garden.

Service is synonymous with the name Tara Beasley-Stansberry. Tara also serves on the Advisory Board of the Veterans Resource Programs, she said "it is unconscionable to see our veterans struggle with basic needs and they have honorably served our country".

Tara's platform is the Unhoused, Beautification and most near and dear to her Economic Development, as the Vice President of the Solano County Black Chamber of Commerce, she has seen and heard about the decline in the economic status of black businesses and how their businesses struggled prior to the pandemic but could not rebound during post-pandemic. Part of her role as Vice President is to bring the resources and education that these businesses need to succeed.

Tara is running for City Council in Vallejo, CA District #5 and she plans to be Transparent, Inclusive of all citizens and their points of view, and that Catalyst for Change that her City, but most important District #5 needs.
