Mobile Car Valeting | Unexpected Future
How things can change your future. You never know what is there behind the corner

BriefingWire.com, 11/02/2020 - ‘You never know what is waiting for you behind the corner’ once said a colleague to Richard in 2007 while working for a private medical insurance company in Farnham, Surrey.

Years of confusion in the show business industry in native Lithuania, and a further life-job-seeking journey in the United Kingdom since March 2005.

Thinking of music being the only passion and the only thing he can do, it happened that due to some circumstances, a path lays down towards an unexpected future.

Show Business – three gold singles, depression, a fall down back to the earth, bye Lithuania hello United Kingdom. Losing ‘your magic’ means there is probably and hopefully another one.

The lowest-paid jobs in three Italian restaurants and the packing department in the factory in West London within the first few months pushes the migrant a bit away from the dreams that were on top of everything just a short while ago.

Insurance company – oh boy, four and half years, a ‘personal university’ completed – well improved English, skills in customer and finance administration, first signs of interest in digital marketing paves a way to another section of life, still very alien and depressing.

How much time an individual need to understand what impact the state of spirit has on the quality of life? The longer it takes to find inner peace, the longer big ups and downs will be leading ahead of something very uncomfortable and moody.

After quitting the Insurance company, Richard came back to London thinking to continue in the same industry, feeling failed and incomplete in his music ‘talents’. Yes, the magic has gone. Adopting within different mentality can make people lose something, but they also find something to replace the loss.

Six years night shifts as a train cleaner keeping learn digital marketing, trying to fulfill some big ideas, failing again and again. A big and fat lesson to learn to be happy with little things.

Finally, during cold winter Richard finds himself working in a car washing station 10 hours a day, seven days a week for £315; recalling £45 of cash in a single day is the lowest he ever got paid while in the United Kingdom. At the bottom of everything he has done, at least he felt that way, Richard understands this is the time to take the right action. Any more failures would not be allowed.

Magically, within the environment, he finds something attractive. Cleaning cars is a systematic process as a whole that brings some inner peace and reduces the level of depression. At that point, Richard decides he is in the right place to start something on his own, something he loves to do.

Learning to do car detailing becomes a daily job in a car garage in Mortlake, South West London for another two years. Who could think that the guy once a little celebrity in his homeland will be seeing car cleaning, valeting, or detailing as a process to complete a piece of art? Or, comparing a spotless looking car to the front end in a website building process while mechanics being at the back-end side.

Richard has found himself in the mobile car valeting business doing the art that is well worth seeing.

Magic comes when we stay happy with little things. Life brings peace when we find ourselves where we belong.
