National Security & Protective Services, Inc. is a Texas security company headquartered on Bridge Street in Fort Worth. It places trained officers at offices, retail stores, warehouses and other business premises around the DFW Metroplex, and it also has a phone line for clients in New Orleans. The company is licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety and accredited by the BBB.Theft, vandalism and people wandering into areas they should not be in are the usual worries for a business owner. Guards in the company's service security guard program stand at entry points, control who gets in and keep an eye on stock, equipment and parking areas through the shift. Armed and unarmed officers are both available, depending on what the site holds.
"Business owners want to know their premises are covered, but they also want to know what actually happened during the night," a spokesperson remarked. "That is why every client gets a report by email when the shift ends. If an officer saw something, the owner reads about it that morning instead of finding out a week later."
Behind the officers on site sits a dispatch operation that runs 24/7 and coordinates the response when a guard calls something in. Officers carry radios and work with integrated reporting systems. Businesses that want a wider plan can also book a risk assessment, active shooter preparedness or executive protection, and the company keeps smoke-free, drug-free workplaces.
