ONTARIO, Canada: Until March 31st, The Seniors Information and Active Living Fairs will be taking place in different locations throughout Ontario. This initiative, organized by the Older Adult Centres’ Association of Ontario (OACAO) in alliance with the Ministry of Seniors Affairs, wants to increase the awareness among seniors about the different programs and services they are eligible to. “OACAO conducts wonderful fairs every year to recognize the many contributions of senior citizens,” says Bill Singh, the owner of River Road Retirement Residence. “This is a great opportunity for retired citizens to communicate, interact and learn more about the benefits they can access,” adds Singh.
These tradeshows and sessions will also focus on imparting knowledge about how to keep a healthy lifestyle. Alzheimer Society of Ontario, Canadian Cancer Society, Elder Abuse Ontario, Home support services, Ministry of Seniors Affairs, Osteoporosis Canada, and Red Cross Society, will participate in the fairs for this purpose.

The OACAO is a non-profit organization and a registered charity funded by a business partnership, membership fees, educational ventures and other initiatives.
