JMichael is an R&B/pop sensation originally from Buffalo, NY, now residing in Brooklyn, NY. Before committing to his music career, JMichael worked as a freelance celebrity stylist on shows at BET and sang in the world famous Harlem Gospel Choir. JMichael has recently completed his debut EP titled, RTL (Reality TV Love). The singles "RTL" and "Love 4 U" are currently in rotation on Internet radio stations. "RTL" the EP was released on October 3, 2017.JMichael is performing consistently and is currently booking appearances throughout the NYC area, including festivals and clubs. He has perviously performed at Rockwood Music Hall, Madison Square Tavern, Gin Fiz, Brooklyn Liberty Warehouse, Village Underground, BB Kings, Fat Baby, Under Bar, The Well Brooklyn, Treehaus MIMA, The West End Lounge and other venues.
JMichael was featured in RNB Magazine in July 2017 as one of the top five artists to watch and in BRASH! Magazine's R&B/Pop Artist Spotlight in their September/October 2017 Issue. JMichael graced the cover of the 2017 Music Issue of Detroit CEO Magazine. JMichael was recently selected to have his song "Hallucinating" Featured on the upcoming Empire State Mixtape hosted by DJ Drewski from Hot 97 FM in New York. JMichael is returning to the studio to work on his next project for release in 2018 in between performances and appearances.
On Sunday April 8, 2018, JMichael will join the call man panel presented by Six Brown Chicks at The Black Women's Expo in Chicago, Illinois. The Black Love Bootcamp moderated panel discussion will be accompanied by a Twitter Chat using the hashtag #SBCCHAT, and begins at 2pm CDT at McCormick Center.
