Ohio, USA – January 28, 2019 – The vision of building global peace by involving the young people in the vital process was the founding pillar upon which Rotary Youth Exchange began their highly beneficial programs. Operating under the banner of Rotary Club International, the programs offered by the club reach out to more than 100 countries where high school students are taken for an international experience. Rotary Youth Exchange largely targets students between the ages of 15 and 19 who are self-motivated to be part of a larger global objective.Talking about how their programs are tailor-made for all students, the Organization Spokesperson said, “To gain a global perspective, it is essential for students to get out of their comfort zones and go the extra mile if they want a hands-on experience. We have made this possible by giving you the opportunity to rely on a professionally structured exchange module where all your primary needs are catered for. This ensures that the long list of must-haves is greatly slashed and all you have to do is show the willingness to be part of the Rotary Youth Exchange family.”
Summers are often periods of great fun, and now with the Rotary Youth Exchange, all the goodness can now be more than doubled. In a bid to make the exchange more affordable, the organization avails scholarships for summer programs for high school students. Eligible students for the scholarship get to have free hosting by a foreign Rotary Club, homestay accommodations, comprehensive medical insurance, and 24-hour emergency assistance. All these are included by Rotary Youth Exchange to give each student the confidence of a stress-free experience even when they are miles away from home.
Speaking about what students are required to cater for during the program, the Organization spokesperson said, “While we go the extra mile to ensure that all primary factors are put in place for the entire period, you have a mandate as a student under our program. First is the responsibility of ensuring all your travel documents are in order and that your parents or guardians are willing to pay for round-trip airfare. It is also important to have travel insurance and extra money that can be spent on additional tours while in the host country.”
The immersive summer programs for high school students provided by Rotary Youth Exchange are an opportunity for the young people to forever change their perspectives about the world we live in. Great interactions with students from other countries and the chance to learn and understand new cultures and languages further enhance the suitability of the program. Rotary Youth Exchange has both short-term and long-term exchange which a student can choose depending on their interests. The short-term exchanges run for a maximum of three months while the long-term exchanges cover a full academic year.
