HOUSTON, TX — The Saturday Menudo Club, founded by U.S. Marine veteran Andy Valadez and civic leader Carmen Cavazos, is entering an exciting new chapter with a vision for expansion across Houston and beyond. Building on the momentum of two recent powerhouse events at El Tiempo Cantina, the club now sets its sights on broader impact through live gatherings, digital media, and innovative AI-driven experiences.Elsa AI Saturday Menudo Club Experience Agent announces their next event: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-c6bQRyncg&t=3s
Most recently, the club launched its Saturday Menudo Club ZoomCast, giving community leaders a platform to share insight and inspiration weekly. To enhance engagement, the club also introduced Elsa, an AI Club Experience Agent, designed to connect members with updates, FAQs, and event reminders in real time. In addition, a public Google Calendar now makes it easier than ever for Houstonians to stay plugged into upcoming gatherings.
This Saturday, the club will host one of its most anticipated events yet — featuring American legend Pastor Sam Childers, internationally recognized as the Machine Gun Preacher and founder of Angels of East Africa. Pastor Sam will deliver a keynote on faith, courage, and global humanitarian impact. A collection will be taken to support his orphanage.
“The Saturday Menudo Club is more than a meeting — it’s a media experience for leaders who care deeply about the future of Houston, Texas, and our nation,” said Carmen Cavazos, co-founder and host. “We’re expanding both physically and digitally so more voices can be heard, more solutions can be shared, and more leaders can rise.”
Upcoming expansions will include additional gatherings across multiple El Tiempo Cantina locations, further ZoomCast programming, more event hosts, and collaborations with community voices who want to address the pressing issues facing Houstonians and their political leaders.
“Our mission is to blend tradition with innovation,” added Andy Valadez, Marine veteran and co-founder. “From the camaraderie of menudo Saturdays to cutting-edge digital outreach, we are building a movement that cannot be duplicated or substituted. As our grandparents said: Ya No Más! — enough is enough.”
