Saturday Menudo Club Hosts Humanitarian “Machine Gun Preacher” Pastor Sam Childers at El Tiempo, ...
Club's First Global Endorsement Since 2024, Supporting Childers’ Mission to Feed 30,000 Children Daily

BriefingWire.com, 8/26/2025 - (HOUSTON, TX) – The Saturday Menudo Club held an extraordinary gathering on August 23, 2025, at El Tiempo Cantina, uniting community leaders, veterans, and influencers for a powerful event featuring internationally) renowned humanitarian Pastor Sam Childers, known globally as the Machine Gun Preacher (MGP). The event was filmed by P&G Media, with sound by Audio Distinctions, and exemplified the Club’s mission of bringing great people together over a meal, sharing important news, and supporting leaders who are making a lasting impact.

Pastor Childers said, “Most people don’t know that Menudo is my favorite in Africa! To be received by this wonderful community was encouragement to my mission to feed the Orphans of East Africa. Houston is amazing and I am looking forward to coming back and am thankful for the opportunities to share our story with the array of media interests coming forth to support our documentary MGP Never Stop.”

The program opened with prayer from Tim Kelly, Chaplain of Texas Freedom Force, followed by the sounding of the Mighty Shofar by Founder Andy Valadez, pledges to the American and Texas flags, and a stirring rendition of the National Anthem by Stephanie Ortiz. Co-Founder and CEO Carmen Cavazos served as Emcee, leading the Club’s “Stir the Pot” series to address pressing issues and recognize leaders in attendance.

The highlight of the day was Pastor Childers’ inspiring message, where he urged attendees to download his newest documentary MGP Never Stop at www.MGPNeverStop.com. With five orphanages in Africa feeding 10,000 meals daily, his mission is urgent—though he can only provide one meal per child per day. The Saturday Menudo Club committed to help expand his efforts to 30,000 meals as part of its legacy initiative.

In a historic moment, the Saturday Menudo Club formally endorsed Pastor Sam Childers, marking its most powerful endorsement since its support of President Donald J. Trump in 2024. This endorsement spans two continents—America and Africa—reflecting the Club’s growing global reach.

Announcements included the launch of the new Saturday Menudo Club WhatsApp group, a business directory initiative, weekly ZoomCast, open community calendar, Elsa AI Club Experience Agent and ChatBot, and confirmation of the next gathering on September 13, 2025, at El Tiempo, 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Of special significance was the support of El Tiempo founder (a US Navy Veteran) Roland Lorenzo and the contribution of radio time from Art Lopez of BNetRadio to amplify MGP’s mission.

"I was honored to be part of this powerful gathering and to support Pastor Sam Childers, the Machine Gun Preacher. His mission to feed children in Africa truly touched me. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help amplify his voice and be part of feeding the children who desperately need our support." – Art Lopez, Businessman & BNetRadio Contributor.

Distinguished guests included Dakota and Kimberly Myers of Veterans for America First, veteran Journalist Wally Wood of the Wood News Group and Coffee With Wally Podcast, Marine Colonel Larry and Jennifer Kaifesh, Community Leader LtCol (Ret.) Roy Morales, former state representative candidate Martha Fiero, and Pastor Boyd Harrell of C.O.O.L. Ministries.

The Saturday Menudo Club thanks all attendees for leveraging their networks to secure interviews, media placements, and partnerships to expand this vital mission.
