The Festival has selected Scott L. Schwartz as this year's Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient. Scott has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He is respectfully known as, “The Ultimate Bad Guy” and is probably most recognized for his role as “Bruiser” in Ocean’s 11, 12 & 13. He has also been in major big budget blockbusters: Spider-Man, Fire Down Below, The Flintstones: Viva Rock Vegas, Starsky & Hutch, Fun With Dick and Jane, and many others.

“2020 was a tough year to maneuver through, but here we are in our 23rd year of existence and we are incredibly fortunate to have Scott receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a true inspiration in the industry”, stated GCFVF founder, Hal Wixon.

After cancelling the in-person festival in 2020, the Festival is excited and hopes to get back to some kind of normalcy. The festival screenings will be on September 24th and 25th at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake Hotel in beautiful Nassau Bay, TX. The Gala will be held at the Lakewood Yacht Club in one of the best cities to live in, Seabrook, TX on the 25th.
