Houston, TX – Over the last couple months, writer and director Millie Loredo has made her way across the eastern United States promoting and screening her debut indie horror film, Sorrow. In March, she stopped by the Mad Monster Con in Charlotte, North Carolina where she sold t-shirts, movie posters and other Sorrow memorabilia. That merchandise will now be available to own on the Sorrow website.Sorrow follows the story of Mila Sweeney, a forensic psychologist who is kidnapped and tortured by two deranged serial killers. However, she manages to escape and exact revenge against her captors.
Digital, DVD and Blu-Ray copies of the indie horror film are available to order on the homepage of the official Sorrow website. Additionally, Barnes & Noble and Target offer copies of Sorrow on DVD while Amazon offers DVD and Blu-Ray copies of the film. Amoeba Records in Los Angeles is also selling limited edition Blu-Ray copies of Sorrow.
Sorrow t-shirts, movie posters and autographed memorabilia from the film will soon be available to order on the website as well. Autographed copies of the DVD were sold on the screening tour last month, and movie posters signed by Loredo, lead actress Vannessa Vasquez and cast member Melissa Mars were sold at the Mad Monster Con in March.
Loredo wanted to give scary fans that were unable to attend a screening of the film in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina or New York last month another chance to purchase souvenirs from the indie horror film.
For those who were unable to watch the film in theaters, Sorrow is available to stream online through Amazon Prime Instant Video, will premiere on Hulu Plus this month and is now available on Vimeo.
