ImagineNation Kids Expo Discovered by Zarnok from Planet Wonderton (friendly alien invasion) Commercial: soundcloud.com/ebcbroadcast/zarnok (audio 1:11 min. on SoundCloud.com)
The Back Story:
Zarnok was tasked with exploring distant galaxies to find the most imaginative lifeforms in the universe. After light-jumping past Saturn's rings and narrowly escaping a marshmallow meteor storm, he crash-landed in New Braunfels, Texas and plans to come to Katy and Rosenberg — just in time for the ImagineNation Kids Expo this summer.
His discovery from the expo launched last year was communicated to the people of his planet Wonderton in a galaxy far away, “Their young ones build worlds with plastic bricks and battle villains dressed like snack cakes! We must attend this Earth ‘expo’ and… BRING EVERYONE!”
Originally launched at the Merrell Center in Katy, Texas, ImagineNation Kids Expo will expand in 2025 with three exciting shows scheduled for New Braunfels, Katy, and Rosenberg. Each production will feature hands-on demonstrations, educational exhibits, live entertainment, and commercial applications that allow children and families to explore future possibilities while having fun. Ghostbusters, Star Wars, lots of various character photo-ops, Katy Rock mining, Face Painting and five different Lego build areas, and Laser Tag.
"We wanted to create an environment where kids of all ages could be curious, inspired, and engaged — not just entertained," said Stacie Bowles, Producer of ImagineNation Kids Expo. "Our mission is to bring together the best in innovation and education to help spark dreams and ideas that could shape the future."
A portion of the event proceeds will benefit Champions Kids Camp, a non-profit founded by Grammy-award winning songwriters and Nashville connection Bill and Kim Nash (based in Houston), which helps children who have overcome adversity find healing through music, art, and storytelling.
"We are honored to partner with ImagineNation Kids Expo to continue our mission of giving kids a safe place to express themselves, discover new talents, and find hope after hardship," said Bill Nash, co-founder of Champions Kids Camp (www.ChampionsKidsCamp.org). "This collaboration is a perfect fit, aligning innovation with heart."
Admission is family-friendly and affordable, designed to welcome everyone to experience the magic of hands-on learning. All attendees will receive a special ImagineNation shopping bag filled with opportunities to engage with exhibitors and take-home educational treasures.
