His motivation to create this website came from the clear evidence he saw that the system itself was destined to fail. He realised that holding elections held every 5 year did not give enough day-to-day power to the people during that 5 year term - believing that was not a true reflection of true democracy.

Giving daily complete control through each 5 year period to a few 'elected' politicians would mean that the public would have to wait another 5 years to change the direction their own country was going in - against their will.

To be specific, if the voting public had more power on a day today basis, many of the decisions made during the 14 years that the Conservative party were in power - deemed by the British media and the British public that the UK in 2024 was a broken nation - it would not have been allowed to happen.

Equally, with the new Labour party in government, a collective powerful and united group of the 'liberal not radical' voting public would not have allowed the removal of the winter fuel payments made to pensioners would also not have been allowed to happen.

Everyone knows how 'people power' worked in 2020 when Marcus Rashford Click Here (and initially a small group on social media) got the all-powerful government to stop the plan to abolish the £15 child school dinners benefit. Unfortunately this climbdown was u-turned and they subsequently brought it back soon after.

However, with the GB2GB plan this would not have been reversed because the membership of the GB2GB campaigning programme would be live and active every single day of every year, fighting for whatever was blatantly wrong to be corrected.

No more 'whipping' MP's to vote against their conscience - and of what their constituency wanted them to do, one of the most undemocratic rules given to any government, along with many other ones too.

The main aim of the campaign however is to place pressure on what people regard as an unfair, disproportionate account by the British national press of the actions taken by the labour party, alongside a more than supportive platform given to ex-disgraced Conservative ministers and MP's responsible for their role in the cause of the very same 'broken British' state that the same press accused them of causing in the first place..

GB2GB will also hold the media (press and TV) platforms for the unsubstantiated claim the Reform would be the 'likely' winners in the next general election - 4 years from now. Completely based on an assumption that the type of unpleasant and divisive dialogue used by Nigel Farage, along with an ever-growing number of undisciplined, unqualified with no previous government experienced Reform councillors over 4 years would be sufficient to turn the UK voting population into an inward, backward cynical nation.
