The Daily Views describes how openly biased media's rise to dominance was able to be created.
GB2GB warns that major UK media outlets, including billionaire-owned 'bodies' and TV broadcasters, are increasingly removing essential historical context from political reporting, raising concerns about how this affects public cohesion in the UK.

BriefingWire.com, 2/15/2026 - Here you will find a systemic evolution of the United Kingdom, through Governments own actions and decisions, finding itself and more importantly its citizens in a very vulnerable position possibly damaging the security and cohesion of the UK..

Created by a sequence of events, actions and possibly design, British citizens find themselves with limited and unbiased news reporting, which is so important socially, politically and financially as cohesion affects all of these factors if allowed to continue.

Extreme domination of any one political bias is absolutely a guarantee of conflict and unrest amongst the population. division follows, many citizens benefit from that bias, and many are hurt by it and start to lash out as they get left behind.

As the founder of GB2GB I have been motivated by the growing division in the UK, which is growing exponentially daily . I am beginning to see the trend towards 'control from power' in the USA being sought-after in the UK in many ways, possibly ending in a 'union'.

When it was avoidable because of foresight it was easily avoidable, finding it however in hindsight is no consolation whatsoever. It is imperative therefore that the government and parliament then act swiftly before the effects on society are irreparably damaged.

1/. Britain’s press-freedom laws were built to stop government interference, not to regulate ownership concentration.

2/. Because of this, private media groups were free to expand, merge, and acquire without strong limits.

3/. Over time, dozens of independent newspapers collapsed into a handful of large ownership clusters.

4/. Today, three major groups dominate national newspaper circulation.

5/.This level of concentration is unusually high for a modern democracy.

6/. When ownership concentrates, editorial lines often cluster too, amplifying similar viewpoints across multiple titles.

7/. Television amplifies these narratives, because broadcasters routinely review and repeat newspaper headlines.

8/. This extends the influence of concentrated print ownership to millions who never buy a paper.

9/. The influence comes not from state control but from market power — a different kind of imbalance.

10/. This structural dominance shapes national narratives on issues like identity, borders, and security.

11/. The result is a democratic tension: strong press freedom, but limited diversity of voices reaching the public.

China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea, all have virtually 100% total control of their countries' media. In the UK, 90% of all printed and digital media is independently owned by 3 Multi-Millionaire 'bodies'.

With the exclusive 'Freedom Of The Press' power given to media and its journalists, output from journalists and their national newspapers are actually allowed to be politically biased.

Which means - “When billionaires own the news, the news serves billionaires.”

The complete lack of references to the last Conservative party's 14 years in power is another perfect example of how right wing media control news content.

Another example is the BBC's 'shut down' of a Labour minister who wanted to include the last 14 years of the Conservative government by stating clearly, 'we are not going down memory lane now, are we'.

This from the most powerful media platform in the world?
