Qualified teaching staff deliver the Early Learning Years curriculum to children aged 3-4 years helping to ease them gently into school life. These early years pass by quickly but we work closely with all of our parents feeding back daily developmental goals and achievements and share a daily log.

We focus on a very high standard of care for young babies and fully appreciate how difficult for new mums the initial induction can be. Our experienced baby floor team have some of the most valuable experience and qualifications in South Wales and have been noted for our baby floor in the NDNA reports. The home from home calming environment will make you feel safe and secure that your baby will be loved and emotionally secure at The Flowers.

We have a self-contained Baby Unit to take account of the particular requirements of young babies aged from 3-18 months. The rooms are situated on the ground floor and are light and airy. The unit includes a playroom, a quiet room and a changing room.

Our baby rooms are brightly decorated and include a superb range of age-appropriate equipment, which is regularly renewed. The most important aim of our baby rooms is to provide a happy, safe and loving environment where children can learn and develop to their full potential.

Your baby will have continuous love and care from a team of experienced Nursery Nurses and a fully qualified Key Worker who has specific knowledge about young babies and their needs.

Our baby unit cares for babies from the age of 3 months. We work with you to understand your baby's needs and routine and will follow that as closely as we can. Your baby will have their own key worker who will get to know your baby and always be able to offer them security, familiarity and comfort. Our baby care offers a bright and positive environment that they quickly become familiar with and will settle easily and quickly when they are with us.

At the start of their session with us you can tell us how they have slept, if they are slightly under the weather and any other aspect that you feel we should know for the day ahead. At the end of the day when you pick them up, we will do the same giving you the confidence we have looked after your baby.

Our baby unit team is dedicated to nurturing your baby to help them settle into nursery life with us and we ensure that every day is full of fun and interaction for them as well as love and care from our team of outstanding nursery nurses.

All staff have a minimum of Level 3 Childcare and all have obtained Food Hygiene, Child Protection and First Aid certification.
