Born and brought up in the beautiful city of Akola, Maharastra where people seldom hear words like Cinematography, Akshay found his love for camera, frames and shots at a very young age. He started chasing his dream with wedding shoots and then smoothly glided in the glamourous world of Cinema. At the age of just 26, he has already worked in several Marathi short films plus documentaries and also marked his entry in the Hindi film industry with the film Menagee this year. In 2014, he debuted in the film Little Little under the direction of Vaibhav Palhade as a Cinematographer and didn't look back since.

Akshay completed his education and has a degree of Civil Engineering. But he was always intrigued by the magic of the camera and its enchanted world. He was fascinated to know how this gadget could give wings to his imagination and creativity. So he decided to follow his passion overcoming all the obstacles and today he earns around 1 Lakh per film. Blessed with unique skills, talent and a humble upbringing makes him a complete package for the young generation to look up to him as an inspiration and without a doubt follow their dreams.
