African American Female Bishop Rebuke of President Trump
He should have feared before proceeding to insert the symbolism of godliness by holding up the bible knowing darn well he was just STAGING. The taxpayers paid for that and he needs a reality check, this doesn't represent God on any level...

BriefingWire.com, 6/02/2020 - New York. Bishop Janice Hollis of Philadelphia shared yesterday her support of Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington and her criticism of the president to use St. John's Episcopal Church as a prop.

"As a spiritual leader, and person of color what I witnessed yesterday demonstrates the president's blatant disconnect to God. Whereas he has been extremely supportive of many issues concerning the church and the community of faith, however, the optical before the world was shallow, self-serving and devoid of any spirituality. Did it ever occur to the President to actually have a minister stand with him to pray for healing, restoration, or for God's grace to be extended? What in the world was he thinking? It was mobbish at best and did not, and does not represent the tenets of the Church" said Hollis.

In addition, she denoted having spoken to several colleagues connected to the administration they all felt his press conference in front of the church was a farce.

The bishop also indicated, "Let me be clear, Mr. Trump is our president until the citizenry of America says differently at the ballot box in November, and I respect the office and pray for him and his family often. Notwithstanding, there has to be a change of heart; he should have feared before proceeding to insert the symbolism of godliness by holding up the bible knowing darn well he was just STAGING. He could have, and still can, take the position to reconcile the nation and keep law and order at the same time. Listen, I appreciate the fact that our president is a courageous person but, he needs to couple that energy with a little bit of empathy, which seems to elude him."

And lastly the bishop shared "He could have invited men and women of faith to be there, black leaders, Hispanic, and Asian and not a group of political government employees. The taxpayers paid for that and he needs a reality check, this doesn't represent God on any level."

Hollis is also a media executive and film producer and the spiritual leader of Power4 U Now organization.
