National MS Ambassador Nationally Syndicated Columnist Wendy Bjork to Speak at MS Madison Event
MADISON, Wis, USA- National MS Society Ambassador and Nationally Syndicated Columnist Wendy Bjork to Speak at MS Views and News Educational Event in Madison

BriefingWire.com, 7/06/2026 - Event is on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Madison East.

Bjork will be attending as a representative of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and looks forward to connecting with individuals, families, care partners, healthcare professionals, and advocates from across Wisconsin who are navigating life with Multiple Sclerosis.

Her talk is titled, “Finding Your True North with MS.”

Listen to how one woman's compass through 35 years of MS can help guide your own. A diagnosis can knock you off course, but it doesn't have to be the end of the map. From self-advocacy to navigating stress, resilience, and what it really means to thrive, Wendy shares the four directions that have guided her through decades of living well with MS.

Diagnosed with MS more than 35 years ago, Bjork has dedicated her work to helping individuals move beyond survival mode and create greater well-being through education, self-advocacy, and practical lifestyle strategies. Through her nationally syndicated articles, speaking engagements, podcast interviews, and community outreach, she shares insights drawn from both personal experience and decades of research into chronic illness and wellness.

"One of the greatest lessons MS has taught me is that none of us have all the answers," said Bjork. "After more than three decades living with this condition, I am still learning. Events like this create opportunities to ask better questions, discover valuable resources, and connect with people who truly understand the journey."

Hosted by MS Views and News, the program is designed to provide education, support, and practical information for people living with Multiple Sclerosis and their families.

Featured presentations include:

• Paul Pelland, known nationally as Long Haul Paul, presenting A Man and His Bike

• Dr. Christopher C. Luzzio, UW Health MS Neurologist, presenting Twelve Questions You Should Be Asking Your MS Neurologist

The event will also provide attendees with opportunities to connect with exhibitors, healthcare professionals, advocacy organizations, and fellow members of the MS community.

As a National MS Society Ambassador, Bjork works to raise awareness, encourage self-advocacy, and help connect individuals with resources that support living well with MS. She will be available throughout the event to meet attendees and share information about her work through Hearts of Wellness and her ongoing advocacy efforts.
