WASHINGTON, DC, March 17, 2020 -- America is facing a national crises such as the world has never before seen. It is time for each individual congregation across the country to open its church doors to health organizations and governmental agencies who are looking for facilities in which to administer testing or related purposes. Facilities may become increasingly scarce if the coronavirus exponentially spreads throughout our communities and around the nation.
With church services increasingly being shut down, the Church can still reach its communities very pragmatically by offering its facilities or portions thereof to local authorities who are faced with the prospects of having mere retail parking lots in which to operate. Pastors have historically been among the primary leaders of their respective communities during and after the founding of America. We urge pastors to be engaged with local authorities and their communities to help bring solutions to the pandemic facing our great nation.
Where we have the capacity to serve, let's step up and be forward thinking. . . we are in this TOGETHER!
Very respectfully,
