The Nation Sleep Out Expects 1.5 Million Participants Gearing Up For Dec. 7, 2019

Business magnates Robert (Bob) Ellis former business manager for numerous celebrities, and Danny Bryan, founder of Positive Energy Always, LLC, along with Media executive Janice Hollis of the Hollis Media Group joined forces with NSO (the Nation’s Sleep Out campaign) to maximize the visibility of the consortium and help kickoff its nation-wide 1-day ICONIC SLEEPOUT taking place December 7, 2019 across America.

The event is designed to increase awareness of the homeless pandemic sweeping the country and raise support to assist local city charities during the holiday season.

WHAT IT IS ABOUT:

The Nation’s Sleep Out is a marathon event where at least 1.5 million are committing 1 day to show solidarity for displaced families and homeless teens living without permanent housing.

Participants are asked to wear the official “FACELESS” solidarity bracelet and the Nation’s Sleep Out T-shirt the entire day, and where possible, to attend a scheduled family-friendly evening event in their respective city. Or register to host a small group in support of the homeless initiative.

Collectively, from the onset the Consortium decided to raise the bar even higher by adding extra support partners to ensure they connected to vital social service agencies that are on the front lines every day helping to serve those experiencing misfortune. The group expressed it was not enough for them to hold events just to bring people together, but equally as pertinent it was paramount to couple other essential components to the CAUSE. And having strategic partners to support Job Readiness Training, Mental Wellness Screening, and Youth Services was critical.”

In addition, NSO created a 1,000,000 BEAMS of LIGHT Twitter Campaign for grade students to engage and inspire them to increase their consciousness of the plight of possible classmates, and what life must be like for them to live in a world without the comfort of a bed.
