The Power Of A Mom, And Retired Nurse Nazarie Anderson Against Social Injustice
This is a deliberate injustice to not only keep him without due process, but to destroy his mind,” several of his ardent supporters

BriefingWire.com, 4/11/2023 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE!

The Georgia penial system plagued with numerous questions of mental cruelty and inhumane treatment in the past is once again in the spotlight for several dastardly acts against black male inmates. One in particular according to retired nurse, Nazarie Anderson, and mother of noted social justice advocate and former media host, Augustus Claudius Romain. Mrs. Anderson cites infringement against the 1st amendment rights of her son, Augustus by refusing access to his personal bible, and often subjecting him to excessive periods of personal confinement, substandard food that’s served to him cold and unrecognizable.

According to Anderson, her son is intentionally denied his 1st Amendment Rights to express his faith by the denial of his personal bible, which is a tremendous source of spiritual empowerment as he is facing a long court battle to address erroneous charges levied against him by the Fayette County Police Department in Fayetteville, GA.

Mr. Romain is widely known for his passionate political and civic engagement around the world. Whenever there were disasters, Augustus used his media platform as a conduit to bring awareness and garner resources to aide families and individuals in distress. From serving misplaced families of Hurricane Katrina, to the neighborhood person on hard times and countless homeless men and women he encountered along his travels, Augustus was a community leader that inspired hope.

His mother, Nazarie, shared Augustus was very passionate about helping young black boys without fathers learn how to navigate social environments lifting their dignity by teaching them how to dress and groom themselves, and other etiquettes.

“What we are dealing with is a systemic plot to perpetuate and inflict cruel and unusual treatment on another young, intelligent Black male who is a thinker. This is a deliberate injustice to not only keep him without due process, but to destroy his mind,” several of his ardent supporters have repeatedly said based on interviews previously published.

“As a mother, I taught my son how to treat others, to be a model citizen. Augustus is a kind son, full of compassion and extremely thoughtful of others and would never hurt anyone, let alone indulge in the erroneous activities law officials are framing against him. We are waiting for our day in court, but in the meantime, I, as a mother, am taking a new journey to advocate for Mothers without a voice in partnership with other advocates for social justice reform. I am starting Mothers Voice Advocacy Group to serve as a conduit to educate and empower moms with information and connect to resources while a child is held unjustly.”
