The biggest threat currently to democracy in the UK however is the poor quality of British Media - mainly TV, Radio and Newspapers - producing a disproportionate amount of biased reporting against the current government, which is primarily destructive and more importantly extremely unpatriotic .

THE BIG QUESTION WHO ARE THE ONLY INSTITUTIONS WHO HOLD THE MEDIA ACTIVELY TO ACCOUNT - AND THE SIMPLE ANSWER IS UP TO NOW - NO ONE.

This is displayed in most of commentary regarding the government's activity is negative, whilst, at the same time Media commentary of both a failed previous government after 14 years in power is barely mentioned or pursued, and at the same time they are promoting another party being the most likely party to win an election in 4 years time on the basis of polling's of a few thousand people - about a party with the most divisive MP since Boris Johnson, no costed policies and currently just 5 MP's - out of 650 MP's in total.

Politically, British Media put all politicians under scrutiny legitimately, but not in a democratically manner. This is why most National newspapers have an unspoken but blatantly obvious bias towards certain newspapers - historically with the majority of them supporting the Conservative party.

This was demonstrated in the 1992 general election when the Sun Newspaper claimed 'It's The Sun Wot Won It', a trend that has continued and grown up until the 2024 election, when even those Conservative supporting newspapers conceded that Labour would win. Since then however even more Newspapers - now classed as Viewspapers - where views are more important than the actual news.
